100% of your donation goes to the Muder Ignacia Hospital via the Flinders Foundation in Adelaide. There are no administrative fees and the money is allocated either to births sponsorship or general revenue of the hospital to pay for day to day running costs such as staff, equipment, medicines and any other requirements as determined by the management of the hospital.

The Muder Ignacia Hospital is currently undergoing fundraising for expansion for extra services and facilities.

A Class D Clinic will attract funding from the government, which will allow the Muder Ignacia Hospital to become a self-funding entity or very much less reliant on donations, which currently it totally is.

The major additions required are operating theatre, high care unit and an extra 25 beds.

Currently the RVM sisters, who run the hospital are working with the hospital architects, builders, Department of Health and the BPJS office (equivalent to our Medicare ) to deliver to FOHG and David O’Rourke costed plans that will satisfy the Class D requirements.
